For Virginia public bodies
Virginia sets a goal that 42% of state purchases go to small businesses. Solicitations up to $10,000 are set aside for certified micro businesses, and procurements between $10,000 and $100,000 are set aside for certified small businesses, with buyers directed to solicit multiple certified sources where available.
Once our SWaM certification is issued we will qualify as small, woman-owned and micro — which places us in the set-aside pool for exactly the size of document remediation work most agencies need.
For prime contractors
Virginia requires prime contractors to include a small business subcontracting plan on procurements over $100,000. We are available as a subcontractor for document remediation and caption review on federal and state task orders, and we work to the conformance and reporting standards those contracts specify.
We carry our own tooling, we do not need onboarding into yours, and we are used to delivering into a prime’s QA cycle rather than straight to the client.
